Generic business concept for when we don't have a pic"With the capability to scale to hundreds of terabytes and millions of IOPS makes Violin a strong proposition for any organisation that is looking to accelerate its business critical applications, or virtualise its datacentre storage."

"Violin Memory solutions offer progressive organisations both a simple and non-intrusive way to gain competitive advantage,” said Garry Veale, MD of Violin Memory EMEA. "It’s clear that 2e2 has recognised the potential to deliver ‘fresh and cost effective’ solutions to the market.

"These solutions - that include database consolidation, application acceleration and virtualisation (VSI and VDI) - allow customers to deliver new SLAs to the business and optimise their existing IT assets," he added.

"For some of our customers, IT is about raw speed, enabling organisations to deliver data and applications to employees, customers and citizens faster, and for less," said David Maitland, director of Technology Solutions Technology, at 2e2.

"Violin Memory’s range of flash Memory Arrays is powerful, compact and reliable. We see Violin Memory as being an exciting alternative to traditional hard disk storage in the midst of big data. It’s clear to see that the application acceleration or infrastructure optimisation offered by Violin’s flash Memory Arrays fits with our mission to offer customer-focused, relevant IT services."
