ComputerLinks signs up with Pillar Data Systems

Computerlinks has continued its march into the storage arena signing up Pillar Data Systems. The distributor, best known for its security expertise, has been widening its reach as it moves into the cloud and provides resellers with a greater range of services.


ComputerLinks has continued its march into the storage arena signing up Pillar Data Systems.

The distributor, best known for its security expertise, has been widening its reach as it moves into the cloud and provides resellers with a greater range of services.

Back in February ComputerLinks added the backup functionality to its cloud portal Alvea taking its first major steps into the stortage arena.

Under the agreement ComputerLinks will have access to the Axiom product platform from Pillar and add the technology to its next generation data centre proposition, which it is supporting with a series of seminars.

David Ellis, director of new technology and services at ComputerLinks said that the signing was timely with the explosion in interest in cloud computing and virtualisation.
