The mobility and comms provider said it wanted to focus on its key commerical and financial priorities, including customer and commercial strength, market leadership and cost efficiency.
To this end the Partner Markets, Vodafone Global Enterprise, Vodafone Business Services and Group Marketing are to be combined into the newly created Group Commerical, headed by Morten Lundal as Group CCO.
Technology functions will now report into Group Technology, headed by CTO Steve Pusey.
Accountability for Vodafone's various operating companies will be brought into one of two regions, Europe, headed by Michel Combes, and MEA and APAC, headed by Nick Read.
Vodafone added that the Group CEO, CFO and strategy and business development director will take on joint responsibility for maximising value out of the firm's investmentsm, such as Verizon Wireless, which will not be held within the regional structure.
