OKI has created a post to manage its distribution and etailer partnerships as part of an ongoing process of changing its channel management team.
Simon Tetlow has been appointed head of ecommerce and distribution, a newly created position, and will handle the relationships with Midwich, Micro-P and Northamber as well as the large etailers including the likes of Insight, Misco and Printerland.
Tetlow's appointment follows that of Tressa Whitby as head of reseller sales and Gavin Castelyn who was handed the post heading up end-user business, with a brief to promote managed print services and encourage customers to use the channel.
Tetlow, who is an internal appointment reporting into UK sales director Nick Munton, said that it wanted to recruit more resellers via distribution.
"I have two main objectives in my new role with OKI," says Tetlow. "One is to maintain and grow our e-commerce business. The second is to successfully recruit new IT resellers through our hardware distributor partners."
