Enterprise mobility management player SOTI has taken the wraps off a worldwide partner programme as it looks to formalise its channel structure in response to a strong swelling of its reseller ranks in the past six months.
With mobile device management sitting in the BYOD sweet spot the vendor has seen increasing numbers of partners come on board and has decided to build a programme that delivers defined rewards and support.
Laura Evans, senior director, channel management at SOTI, said that the decision to launch the Altitude Partner programme came on the back of a few years of taking a more ad hoc approach to dealing with resellers.
"We had a very loose structured programme that didn't really have recognisable benefits," she added that it had hired additional channel account managers and built a number of services that were available via a portal.
"We have made a significant investment and we are seeing new partners and there has been a lot of movement [with resellers getting involved with the MDM space] in the last couple of years," she added.
