The deadline for the MicroScope Awards for Channel Excellence (ACEs) has been extended providing the channel with more time to get their entries in and ensure they have the best opportunity to make it to the shortlist.
The closing date for entries is now the 31 March, which will come as a relief to those people who were trying to get their submission ready today, providing an extra couple of weeks for those pulling together their material to support their shot at an award.
There have been plenty of entries already and the enquiries in the last few days about possible deadline extensions indicates that there are more channel players lining up a bid to win an ACE.
As well as the entries starting to come in there has been work going on assembling the judging panel for this year's ACEs and details of just who will be scanning through the long list helping it become a short list the channel can vote on will be announced next week.
Good luck to everyone pulling together a submission and to borrow a phrase you have to be in it to win it so the extra time should be taken advantage of by marketeers that want to get some recognition for their firm's hard work over the course of last year.
