Zycko announces Lee Driscoll as group sales director

Zycko brings sales veteran into the fold to head up European expansion plans

Zycko today announced the appointment of its new senior sales director to lead its European expansion efforts.

Lee Driscoll will bring over two decades of expertise to the table. The sales guru was a co-founding director of Computacenter Distribution and has racked up experience with both TechData and SDG.

“Zycko engaged in an exhaustive selection process over several months to find someone with the right skills, experience and relationships for the role. Lee’s proven career in channel sales and wealth of knowledge in distribution was a perfect fit for Zycko,” said David Galton-Fenzi, CEO of Zycko.

Driscoll’s appointment is just the latest in a long line of executive reshuffles at Zycko. Galton-Fenzi took the helm in April 2013, David Hopper was brought on as chief operations officer in April 2014 and Rob Clark became group technical director in 2012.

“Zycko has a great future ahead due to its line-up of innovative vendors, coupled with its desire and energy to win and succeed,” Driscoll said. “With a team of specialist resources, Zycko is perfectly placed to enable our channel partners to meet their growth aspirations. Zycko has come a long way in the last decade and I am delighted to be a part of the team that will deliver our next phase of growth.”
