Civica UK continues to expand its portfolio through acquisition after making a move for Colchester-based Keystone Asset Management Solutions, an application software and services player that focuses on the social housing sector.
The deal adds software asset management capabilities to Civica, an area where it had not got a foothold previously, and is used to help those in the housing market manage their stock with support for planning maintenance and inspections.
The two firms have rubbed shoulders before when they worked on projects for St Leger Homes and Thames Valley Housing where they worked together to deliver a wider solution to the customer.
“I am delighted to welcome Keystone to the Civica Group. The company’s complementary skills and product set add an important capability in keeping with our clear vision and successful strategy to help customers do more, do better and spend less," said Simon Downing, chief executive of Civica.
In response, Joshua Warren, director of Keystone, said that the acquisition was the next stage in the development of its business and was a good move for its staff and customers.
