Node4 appoints channel head to grow reseller business

Datacentre specialist Node4 has appointed a head of channel sales to develop its reseller activities

Data centre specialist Node4 has appointed an IT industry veteran as head of channel sales as it looks to bring some structure to its reseller activities and grow its partner numbers.

Ian Millward, who has spells on his CV as head of sales at Networks First and Kcom, joins Node4 as head of channel sales and will be tasked with overseeing the development of the firm's reseller activities.

Paul Bryce, business development director at Node4, said that it had recruited someone with channel experience as it set about developing the next stage of its relationships with existing and potential partners.

"His experience is going to be invaluable in developing and expanding Node4’s existing channel programme. By delivering a quality partner programme Ian is going to play a big role in our ambitious growth plans," he said.

Millward said that Node4 had seen a significant growth in its channel network and his appointment was a timely one to build on that momentum and develop the partner programme.

"I want to ensure that Node4 is easy for our partners to do business with, allowing people to make informed decisions about the solution they are purchasing, and enabling them to maximise their sales in a mutually beneficial way," he said.
