Lenovo has continued widening its market reach by extending its distribution portfolio with Exertis.
The deal adds Lenovo server and storage products to the firm’s desktop and laptop range already sold by the distributor.
Darren Phelps, channel director, Lenovo, said: “To date we’ve had a really successful relationship with Exertis. The extension of our distribution deal, which now covers our entire portfolio of server and storage products and coupled with Exertis’ excellent technical support, will allow our business partners to grow their base of SMB and Mid-Market customers and also help them start to expand into the enterprise space.”

Exertis customers can now purchase Lenovo ThinkServer, System X and PureFlex products providing reseller partners with a more comprehensive range of server and storage solutions to cater for customer needs.

The firms sales, technical and support teams will be expanded significantly to cope with the accelerated demand.
