The vast majority of resellers have stilled not yet developed a cloud offering for customers.
According to a survey from security distributor ComputerLinks around 64% of resellers are still not selling cloud services.
The survey also showed that 22% of companies are using the cloud and 38% are evaluating products and services.
Dave Ellis, director of new technologies and services at ComputerLinks, said that a lot of resellers understood they had to move to the cloud but were struggling to understand the business model.

"They want to capitalise on the cloud and want to know how they can make money from it," he said.
As a result the distributor is launching a web site - capitalise-on-cloud.co.uk - and holding a series of seminars and roadshows.
He said the platform was already being used by more than 40 partners and some were taking two or three services or acting as an aggregator and providing much more to users.
Ellis said that it was continuing to develop its Alvea cloud platform and was going to roll out further services in the next few months.
The distributor added its secure disaster recovery to the cloud platform recently and is now looking to add business continuity in the next few weeks.
