Westcoast has confirmed it has split with long serving director Andy Dow by "mutual agreement".
Dow, who rejoined the Theale-based distributor in February last year following his high profile move to head up Dell's UK and Ireland channels in the autumn of 2007, had previously worked at Westcoast for seven years.

"It is sad to see Andy leave our company after some time here and after many years of service at Westcoast but this was a mutual agreement," Alex Tatham, Westcoast sales and marketing director told MicroScope.
The distributor refused to make any further comment on the reasons for his departure on 24 February.
As a result of the move, directors Sunil Madhani, Alan Hunt and Duncan Forsyth will subsume Dow's responsibilities for vendors including Samsung and Apple and for Westcoast's operation in Ireland.
Dow was unavailable to comment.
