Tech Data has completed the acquisition of Avnet Technology Solutions and revealed the senior leadership team that will now spearhead the next phase of growth.
The two distributors revealed they were becoming one last September once the $2.6bn deal went public. The aim was to create a single distributor that could serve the digital living room right through to the largest enterprise's IT needs.
The deal has now completed and been described by Tech Data CEO Bob Dutkowsky as a "momentous day".
"Our combined company is perfectly positioned at the epicenter of the IT ecosystem—with the scale and scope to serve dynamic markets throughout the world—giving our customers access to an end-to-end portfolio of IT solutions and efficiently bringing our vendors' products to new customers in more markets," he said.
"Together, we will be an even stronger company, capable of doing more for our channel partners than ever before. We remain confident that the acquisition of Technology Solutions creates a winning combination for our customers, vendors, and shareholders, as well as the employees of both organizations," he added.
At the same time as revealing the completion of the deal the distributor has revealed its executive line up, which includes some new regional and global role.
