Infinigate sign deal with CloudRuckus

Security distie Infinigate to provide cloud managed wireless solutions through CloudRuckus

Security Distributor Infinigate UK has signed up to supply cloud managed wireless solutions CloudRuckus.

“CloudRuckus is currently the only cloud managed solution for Ruckus wireless hardware and is fully compatible with Ruckus SAMS, SPoT and SCI products making it one of the strongest Cloud Wi-Fi solutions on the market today,” said Mark Julier, CloudRuckus managing director.

“Infinigate has built its success and reputation on technical excellence. We chose to partner with Infinigate because of their deep technological knowledge and understanding of the Wi-Fi market in the UK,” Julier continued. “They provide a higher level of technical, pre and post-sales support than most traditional distributors and so they will help us to add more value to the channel.”

From today, Infinigate UK’s channel partners will be able to capitalise on a wealth of marketing materials on the Infinigate partner portal including information and tools to market, sell and support CloudRuckus’ products and solutions as well as details on how to register deals.

“CloudRuckus offers a credible solution that caters for a part of the market not previously addressed by the UK Ruckus channel,” commented Alex Teh, joint managing director of Infinigate UK.

“Not only does it provide an alternative for current resellers to sell a cloud-based solution but it also offers the benefit of selling Wi-Fi as a service (WaaS) and generating reoccurring revenues for their business,” Teh explained. “Furthermore, CloudRuckus gives us the ability to compete effectively with other vendors specialising in this space.”

Outlining immediate plans, Teh said,”We will start working with our existing 100 + Ruckus partners and introduce them to CloudRuckus. We will provide them with training and product and knowledge transfer capability so they are able to sell, deploy and manage CloudRuckus."

Gartner predicts that by 2018, 40% of enterprises will specify Wi-Fi as the default connection for non-mobile devices and simplifying the management of these networks into the cloud will be prioritised.
