Datacentre and IT infrastructure services provider Onyx Group has kicked off its 20th anniversary year with a rejuvenated three pillar business partner programme pitched at resellers, referral partners, and white-label providers.

The new set-up replaces the existing partnership programme, which currently accounts for £5m out of Onyx’s total £20m sales, and now includes enhanced discounts, marketing campaigns, sales training and pre- and post-sales support.
Onyx’s sales and marketing director John Toal, who joined the firm last summer following his departure from Avnet, said the programme would benefit from access to Onyx’s five wholly-owned datacentre facilities, network and cloud platform to offer 100% availability to partners seeking a ”cost-effective and low risk” entry point to the market.
“Unlike many other vendors offering similar propositions, Onyx has a proven track record of delivering our customers an exceptional service over a 20 year period, establishing a level of trust that we will pass on to our partners as they deliver new services to their customers,” said Toal.
The firm has also appointed former EMC and Northamber man James Carver as its new commercial director with a brief to help strengthen the programme.
