The programme has been devised with the advice from the firm's distributor ComputerLinks and will be a two-tier system with platinum and gold with training, marketing and sales leads on offer to those that sign up.
Nick Itta, channel manager at EfficientIP, said that it had been looking to develop its channel over the last few months and had made the decision to roll out a tiered programme to attract a "handful of partners" that would invest in selling its technology.
Scott Breadmore, sales manager at EfficientIP, said that most customers were struggling under the strain of coping with the explosion in demand from staff for IP addresses as they came into work with their own devices and there was still a large opportunity for the channel.
"A significant number of customers still use a spreadsheet to track their IP addresses and spreadsheets rely on people updating them so there is a big opportunity in IP address management," he said.
He added that the major themes being faced by customers, including cloud and BYOD, were all putting pressure on IP management and firms needed to know what devices and users were connecting to the network.
