Partner Advantage Cloud added to Juniper channel programme

Partner Advantage Cloud will help Elite level partners lever Juniper Networks products as part of a cloud solution

Juniper Networks has added a new cloud-centric specialism to its Partner Advantage programme, Partner Advantage Cloud.

Available as a specialisation to qualifying Elite level partners, the new programme element has been designed to provide programming, tech, services and support to Juniper resellers constructing cloud architectures and service plans.

The specialism also recognises the role and importance of software-defined network (SDN) technologies in creating advanced cloud solutions and includes incentives for partners to adopt SDN products, such as Juniper’s own Networks Contrail package.

Juniper said the launch of Partner Advantage Cloud defined its own cloud go-to-market strategy by delivering the relevant elements that partners would need to support their clients in deploying cloud solutions based on its technology.

The programme will support three specific types of cloud partners: Cloud System Integrators, who will have SDN, network infrastructure and advanced security authorisations as well as Juniper’s Professional Services specialisation, able to implement and deliver cloud systems to cloud service partners or customers; Cloud Service Partners, who will have Juniper’s Support Services specialisation, able to sell and provision cloud-based or managed services based on Juniper infrastructure, with no product resale; and Cloud Infrastructure Partners, SDN authorised cloud providers delivering Juniper-based clouds that include the Contrail SDN lines.

Juniper’s SVP of worldwide partners, Emilio Umeoka said the introduction of a dedicated cloud programme element reinforced the firm’s commitment to “innovation that addresses broader technology trends”.
