Infortrend takes on Hypertec to grow SME market

Infortrend has appointed distributor Hypertec to sell its NAS products into the SME market to take advantage of strong demand from that customer base

Infortrend has announced a partnership with Hypertec for the distributor to handle the complete range of EonNAS products as it looks to ramp up its SME sales.

With the NAS market continuing to grow Infortrend has looked to bring on board a distributor that can get to resellers selling into the SME space.

In addition to the products themselves, which are designed for deployment in enterprise and SMB environments, Hypertec will provide a wide variety of accessories, warranty extensions and onsite support offering a fully supported and unified storage solution to its customers.

“The demand for professional NAS solutions in the SMB market segments is increasing rapidly,” said Leanne Denness, managing director at Hypertec. “For small-businesses like medical clinics or law offices, secure and cost-efficient administration of customer contacts is extremely important. “

Rick Dudson, Director of Sales from Infortrend Europe, said that the Hypertec relationship would add to its existing channel presence.

“The appointment of Hypertec will allow us to build upon and expand our existing channel presence, whilst complimenting and adding to the success already achieved within the UK channel, through our existing relationships," he said.
