ShoreTel's EMEA operation is beginning to resemble an Avaya reunion after the unified comms vendor named a trio of ex-Avaya execs to its regional leadership team, among them former UK reseller boss Darren Pattie, who returns to the channel to head up EMEA distribution after a spell in charge of Vodafone's public sector UC team.

Also joining the firm is Keith Bartlett, who takes up the post of EMEA business development. Bartlett also joins from Vodafone and was formerly an Avaya senior account director. Meanwhile ShoreTel US national sales director Justin Nelson is crossing the pond to become EMEA sales director.
All three report to EMEA managing director Adrian Hipkiss, who was himself appointed from Avaya last year.
