The distributor has now made its Alvea platform available in 14 countries building on the experiences of its launch earlier this year in the UK and Ireland and is now going to be available in the main countries in Europe as well as the Nordics and Dubai and Singapore.
Having built up a range of options resellers can pitch to customers including cloud based firewall, anti-virus, storage and backup the distributor also has plans to add to capabilities of Alvea later this year.
Dave Ellis, director of new technology and services at ComputerLinks, said that it had established the service for resellers and it was extending and developing the services with their needs in mind and it was currently developing the next wave of features to add to the portfolio.
He said that it had set out to offer services at the high end and avoid simply being an aggregator of SaaS options and it was through offering more complex infrastructure applications that resellers could make greater margins.
