Cobweb launches new cloud aggregator ecosystem

Cobweb launches a cloud marketplace, for resellers, service providers and ISVs to easily take advantage of cloud services

Cloud hosting provider Cobweb Solutions today announced the launch of Vuzion – a ‘value-add cloud aggregator’, offering resellers, services providers and ISVs a marketplace of integrated solutions.

The Vuzion programme effectively takes the full spectrum of reseller solutions that Cobweb offers and places them under one much neater umbrella.

Cobweb says that its Vuzion partners will be supported with knowledge on how to build viable cloud businesses.

“Vuzion helps partners drive business success,” said Michael Frisby, the newly appointed managing director of Vuzion and Cobweb Solutions. “Unlike other cloud aggregators and service providers we are focused on building long-term sustainable relationships, proactively helping our partners build capabilities to drive sustainable profitable growth, rather than being just a marketplace to transact through. We provide integrated solutions instead of individual services and help traditional IT partners gain real value from the new and growing cloud landscape. Vuzion brings together more than any other cloud aggregator or CSP in the UK.”

Clare Barclay, Microsoft UK’s general manager for Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners added “Cobweb has been a longstanding member of the partner community. Having used its CSP status to bring a unique offering to small and medium businesses, it’s exciting to see Cobweb turning its attention to bringing even more value to both Microsoft and the wider VAR and service provider community.”

The cloud service provider says that the Vuzion ecosystem will allow partners to easily serve their customers with mature cloud services and solutions, improving margins with less risk than if they were constructing services portfolios from scratch.
