Dutch player Bynder sets up shop in the UK

Marketing resource management specialist Bynder has cut the ribbon on a London office

Amsterdam-based market resource management specialist Bynder is continuing its ongoing expansion out of its Dutch homeland after cutting the ribbon on a UK office in London.

The firm struck out across the Atlantic to the US market back in April, setting up a base in Boston, and has now followed that up just a few months later with a move to London backing up the office with a team to grow its market share.

Former VYRE and North Plains staffer Paul Rowley is heading up sales in the UK and Ireland and is joined by the former head of professional services at North Plains Russ Barr, who will be UK operations director.

“We were incredibly fortunate to secure an office location in the heart of London and in an area renowned for its industry-leading creative output,” said Chris Hall, founder and CEO of Bynder, talking about the decision to base the operation in Clerkenwell.

Barr said that he had been attracted by the approach that the firm took, being based entirely in the cloud and delivering its solution on a SaaS basis, and believed it appeal to marketing departments and agencies.

The firm already has a strong Dutch presence and has established 150 enterprise portals and grown a user base of 50,000 users globally.
