Tell us what you do for a living.
I am a Partner Sales Director for NetApp covering Northern EMEA (UK & Ireland, Benelux, Nordics & Baltics). I lead teams that recruit, enable, market & close business with a diverse network of business partners who sell NetApp solutions & services.

Why are you the right person for this job?
I have more than 20 years of experience selling & leading teams that sell IT solutions both directly & with partner eco-systems. I firmly believe that strong partner eco-systems enhance a vendors Go To Market strategy.

What gets you up in the morning?
I lead a fantastic team and engage with outstanding business partners across 13 countries. Each day is different and brings different challenges and opportunities.

Who helped you get to where you are today?
I’ve enjoyed tremendous support from my family all the way through my career.

What is the best business advice you have received and from whom?

What does the next five years hold for the channel?
Next 5 years will see tremendous change in technology, business models & how IT is consumed. However, customers will continue to need to work with partners for advice, design, deployment & services to get the most out of IT to help their business.

I’m a big fan of the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. Good holiday read…

Battlefield Earth.

What temptation can you not resist?
A good steak & a glass of red wine.

What was your first car and how does it compare with what you drive now?
My first car was a 1970’s Mini Countryman. It was a lot smaller but more reliable than the Jaguar that I drive now!

If you could take part in one event in the Olympics, which would you choose and why?
Table tennis. How hard can it be?

If you were facing awesome peril and impossible odds, which real or fictional person would you most want on your side and why?
James Bond. Very cool. Although Rambo would probably be quite handy…
