Having got the first copy yesterday and flicked through the pages, what strikes you is that the aim seems to have been to try and capture the web in print. At least that's what you think when you open it and see a Matrix of short snippets of news.
But after that it feels like a normal newspaper with normal length articles and sections that would be familiar to any reader, ranging from business to sport.
It will be interesting to see if it does manage to reach out to a fresh readership but as one friend told me last night, "TV and print ain't for me I'm a screen man now".
I suspect that more resellers are heading in that direction as well, pushed partly by content from providers like the BBC ,but also by the desires of vendors to get partners to communicate and engage with their activities online.
