Snow joke for Comet parent company

I've no doubt that Kesa Electricals, parent of electrical retailer Comet, is correct to blame the bad weather for a 7.3% decline in UK revenue for the three months ended 18 January. We all know just how bad the snow was and the effect it had on people getting around and out to the shops. Nevertheles

I've no doubt that Kesa Electricals, parent of electrical retailer Comet, is correct to blame the bad weather for a 7.3% decline in UK revenue for the three months ended 18 January. We all know just how bad the snow was and the effect it had on people getting around and out to the shops.

Nevertheless, I'm intrigued by the news that operations in Kesa's developing countries (Italy, Spain and Turkey) declined by a larger amount, falling 8.8%. I don't recall hearing much about any of those three countries suffering heavy falls of snow and freezing conditions: Kesa results
