Dell gives authorised partners the chance to stand out with RISE

Vendor ushers in EMEA programme to help partners work with distribution to earn more rewards

Dell has cut the ribbon on its RISE channel programme for partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as it merges country offerings into a single proposition.

The idea is not only to make life simpler for partners, particularly those that operate across multiple countries in EMEA, but also to increase the rewards for those that sell more.

The vendor has reassured partners that the best elements of independent country schemes have been retained and RISE will be more profitable, with the tagline “sell more, earn more” for those that focus on run-rate client and server business.

RISE is aimed at the authorised partner base, aiming to give them more opportunity to stand out from their competitors.

RISE will have four partner levels – ignite, boost, advanced and elite – and is aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) partners be more competitive and provide them with a clear path to level up rewards.

Those rewards are given out on a $-per-box basis through Dell’s distributors and can be tallied up and then redeemed at the end of each quarter. Ignite and boost partners will get e-vouchers and advanced and elite can get credit notes at their distributor.

“In 2020, we have seen growth in every quarter in the number of resellers selling Dell Technologies products and solutions, but now we want to capture and accelerate this momentum,” said Ralf Jordan, vice-president, EMEA distribution at Dell Technologies. “With our industry-leading portfolio and launch of RISE, we are providing a more formal engagement path for these authorised partners to become part of the Dell Technologies partner community and grow their Dell Technologies business even further.

“Through RISE, partners will have increased opportunity and profit potential to support their growth with us and rise through the Dell Technologies programme levels.”

Existing authorised partners will automatically be enrolled into RISE and new partners can get involved by checking on the firm’s Performance Portal.

RISE follows a number of enhancements that Dell revealed were coming to its channel partner programmes last month, with the aim of increasing the rewards for those that cross and upsell more of its portfolio.

Early last month, the vendor revealed to partners that changes were coming. Most have been informed by feedback from the channel community, and the firm’s theme of the year is “Together, we stop at nothing”.
