A selection of personnel moves this week as firms turn to experience to help support growth ambitions

A selection of personnel moves this week that underline the attraction and importance of experience with those on the move commanding CVs with years of knowledge clocked up in the industry.

Riverbed 
Remco Postma has been given the nod as channel director for Northern Europe. He has plenty of experience with a CV that includes time at Dimension Data, AppSense and Intel Security. Remco will be responsible for the firm's regional channel strategy and expanding the vendor's partner landscape in Northern Europe. "I’m thrilled to welcome him on board to spearhead new business opportunities in Northern Europe. We’re confident he will drive the evolution of Riverbed’s partner landscape and ultimately help our partners succeed in a complex business environment," said Paul Higley, vice president, Northern Europe at Riverbed.

Content Guru 
The customer engagement specialist has hired Jonathan Oliver as chief information officer. he comes with more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently being vice president of Global Technology at Dynatrace. "Business transformation is only successful with inspired employees to drive it. I’m really looking forward to motivating our people to continue to deliver the frictionless customer service that Content Guru is known for," he said.

Expleo 
The firm has decided that after 14 years of senior management in Expleo Ireland the time is right for Stephen Magennis to step into role of managing director for the UK Quality Business. In that position he will be responsible for developing the business and promoting the firm as a good choice for those looking for digital transformation support. “This is a particularly exciting time for our business as industries are transforming through the adoption of disruptive technologies. I remain committed to supporting our clients as they design the products and services that will improve the day-to-day lives of people around the globe.
