Daisy combines and rebrands channel operation

IT and telco player combines existing channel facing operations into a single entity to make life easier for partners

IT and telecoms player Daisy Group has decided to pull all of its channel activities together and put them under a single brand.

The firm is ushering in Digital Wholesale Solutions, combining the Daisy Wholesale, Distribution and Worldwide operations into a single operation.

The aim is to make life easier for those channel partners that want to get access to a wide range of services, including voice and mobile, from a single place.

The firm has also revealed that the Wholesale Solutions business will be given free reign to operate independently from the rest of Daisy to make sure it can put its full focus on partners.

In terms of personnel the combined operation will be headed by CEO Terry O’Brien and chief digital officer Nathan Marke.

“The Channel is such an amazing place to be right now and our partners have seen tremendous growth over the past 5 years as UK businesses invest in communications, IT and cloud technology and Channel partners increasingly become the best people to help them," said O'Brien.

“For the past 6 months, we have been working to bring our Channel businesses together into a single team while ensuring we continue to improve what we do for our partners,” he added “With our combined skills and capability, I have a clear vision for our new business to become a Super-Aggregator for the Channel. I want us to make life as simple as possible for our partners by offering the best and broadest product portfolio, at the best price and with the best support from one place, so that they can serve their customers brilliantly.”

Marke said that the firm was hoping that it could reach out across the channel to engage with more partners to grow the business.

“If you are a start-up or an established telecoms or IT services business, come and talk to us. With our scale, high quality portfolio of connectivity, mobility, voice, cloud and product offerings, all built exclusively for the Channel, our advanced platform and our amazing team, we can help you build a more profitable future," he said.
