SpectraLink unveils next gen Wi-Fi handsets
SpectraLink has introduced its next-generation Wi-Fi telephony handsets, the Netlink 8000 Series Wireless Telephones. The new handsets support the IEEE 802.11a, b and g radio standards.
Two models are available: the basic NetLink 8020 Wireless Telephone, and the enhanced NetLink 8030 Wireless Telephone supporting SpectraLink's integrated push-to-talk (PTT) capabilities.
Web page translation tool for Firefox released
A new web page translation toolbar has been developed for the Firefox web browser. Called Foxlingo, the toolbar provides instant web page translation while preserving the original layout of the page and supports 45 languages.
Words entered into the Foxlingo search box can be automatically translated from the user's native tongue, which allows searching in foreign languages.
