Oracle is to make its security patching notes easier to understand and to rate the severity of each threat clearly for the first time, making the patching job of IT administrators much easier.

Microsoft struggles to release security patches

Microsoft has released 10 security patches that address 26 vulnerabilities in its software, but it has struggled to distribute them automatically to users, and failed to release an eleventh “critical” patch because of “quality issues”.
