Interim IT directors are raking in £80 an hour as companies seek help to troubleshoot insourcing and problem IT projects.

Indian outsourcer doubles profits

Infosys, the number two Indian IT outsourcer, has reported a 50% increase in quarterly profits. Net profits for the three months up to the end of June jumped to £94m.

US companies outsource less

US companies are reducing their IT outsourcing activity, with a growing number now taking back their IT.
