Office 2013: the main components

Source:  Microsoft

Office 2013 is a suite of eleven applications, though some editions do not include all of them. These are: Access, Excel, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Lync, Publisher, Visio and Word. All have been reworked with a Metro-style user interface. In addition, Microsoft has developed native Windows 8 Metro-style apps for OneNote and Lync. Another key piece of the Office family is SharePoint, deployed either on-premise or in the cloud. Office 365 is Microsoft’s own implementation of hosted SharePoint and Exchange.
