Sun bundles Netbeans with JBoss App Server
Sun Microsystems has released an installation program that bundles the Netbeans integrated development environment with the JBoss application server. This will allow developers to do a single installation and then immediately begin developing Java Enterprise Edition applications, said Sun.

Nokia increases Yahoo Search integration
Nokia has more closely integrated Yahoo search technology into its top-end mobile devices to make it easier for users to find and save web content. Yahoo Search has been rolled into the Nokia Mobile Search application loaded onto the Nokia Nseries and S60 range.

HP doubles performance with new Integrity models
Two new HP Integrity servers offer twice the performance of previous models, according to Hewlett-Packard. The HP Integrity rx6600 and rx3600 servers run the dual-core Intel Itanium 2 Montecito processor and support HP-UX 11i, Windows, Linux, or OpenVMS.

Vodafone to offer fixed-line broadband services
Vodafone is to offer fixed-line broadband services to consumers by the end of the year. The firm has signed a deal with BT Wholesale to enable it to offer the services nationwide via the BT-owned national broadband network.
