RightNow Technologies is offering Siebel users six months free use of its on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) platform, in an attempt to poach them away from Oracle, which is in the process of acquiring Siebel.

RightNow is cashing in on the acquisition by claiming Siebel users face an uncertain future if the deal is approved.
RightNow is offering CRM marketing, sales and service functionality as part of the six-month deal, which represents a 25% reduction on a two-year contract, said the company.
Along with RightNow, Siebel also competes against the likes of Salesforce.com in the on-demand CRM space.
