Dell has extended its OptiPlex business PC line with the launch of the OptiPlex GX520 and GX620 machines.
The two machines also move Dell closer to complying with European Union restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in electrical appliances, as both PCs don’t use lead in their power supplies, motherboards and chassis.

“The OptiPlex GX520 and GX620 underscore Dell's commitment to directly address customer needs, lead global environmental standards, and support product innovation,” said Gary Radburn, Dell UK desktop marketing manager,
“The new BTX chassis that these products use supports Dell HyperCool technology, dual-core processors, lead-free motherboards and components, as well as new security features that enable customers to protect their investment,” he said.
