Getronics snaps up rival

Antony Savvas

Getronics is to acquire ICT services rival PinkRoccade for £250m to make it one of Europe’s largest ICT services providers.

The combined company has a presence in 30 countries and a turnover of £2.15bn.

PinkRoccade complements Getronics’ solutions portfolio, strengthening the company in the areas of network and desktop outsourcing services, as well as providing Getronics with advanced data centre capabilities, said Getronics.

The two businesses both focused on the financial services and retail markets, and clients include Alliance & Leicester, Barclays, and Clarks.

Getronics now has 29,000 employees, 2,000 of which are based in the UK and Ireland.
