SAP partners with HP for in-memory computing, mobility

SAP has partnered with HP to provide in-memory computing and mobility solutions. Find out what the duo can offer to the Indian Enterprises.

SAP India has partnered with Hewlett-Packard (HP) India to establish what it calls, a‘Center of Excellence (CoE)’ in Mumbai. With the CoE, the duo plans to help Indian companies manage their data using in-memory computing technology with SAP’s HANA platform and HP’s services.

SAP claims that its HANA appliance software facilitates in-memory computing by providing instant access to massive amounts of information.

The CoE partnership also extends to SAP’s mobility solutions under Sybase Unwired solutions portfolio. Sybase Unwired is an application platform intended to simplify the development, deployment and management of enterprise mobile applications.

The duo foresees in-memory computing and enterprise mobility as new areas of growth.
