Cloud Distribution launches broker service

Distributor will give resellers the chance to create their own subscription based solutions

Cloud Distribution has cutr the ribbon on a cloud broker platform that will give resellers more choice over the solutions they take out to customers.

The distributor's Your Cloud service allows resellers to choose from 700 pre-defined cloud applications to help build subscription based solutions that they can take out to customers.

All of the services can be white labelled and give partners the chance to deliver a high degree of customer customisation.

Some of the areas that should be of interest to resellers will include Office365, storage, networking, virtualisation, backup, anti virus, intrusion prevention and VDI.

Resellers will also be able to add existing legacy applications to the mix by charging the customer through a single billing engine. There is also a quote tool as part of the platform that will make life easier for those sales staff pitching the applications to users.

“I’ve done a good amount of due diligence over the last 6 months while developing the Your Cloud proposition...and I can safely say, there’s nothing out there like it,” said Scott Dobson, managing director at Cloud Distribution.

“Your Cloud truly can enable a partners Cloud services offering overnight and differentiate them from their competition," he added "Your Cloud can give our partners a unique, branded platform to create and develop their own Cloud value proposition from both their existing and new vendor offerings."

The platform is being powered by Dutch cloud service brokerage provider Eshgro. The firm's CEO Anton Loeffen said that it had found the right partner to help it expand its reach into the UK.

The announcement of Your Cloud follows hot on the heels of the signing of anti virus specialist CrowdStrike, marking a busy few days for the distributor.
