Pritchard has been at Comstor for a number of years and took up the worldwide role four years ago after the Cisco-centric distie took the decision to present a single, global face to the market. He oversaw operational and strategic sales programmes, marketing, business development, business segmentation planning among other things.
Reporting to CEO Dean Douglas, who came across from Comstor-owner Westcon at the end of 2013, Pritchard will now take charge of all indirect channel activities at Unify, from SME markets to large scale alliances, with a brief to develop strong, successful partnerships across the board.
“With a dynamic new brand, the industry-leading OpenScape portfolio plus the exciting new Project Ansible that will hit the market later this year, the time is now for Unify to take full advantage of the capabilities of a world-class channel programme,” said Pritchard.
Welcoming his former employee to the fold, Douglas added: “Growing revenue through complementary indirect channels is one of Unify’s highest priorities and we need to further increase our focus on being channel-ready and providing value to our partners.
“Jon Pritchard brings global channel expertise to Unify to help lead this charge and take advantage of opportunities in the market. I am very happy to welcome Jon to my Senior Executive Team and look forward to working closely with him in the future,” he added.
