The online programme enables resellers to configure pricing arrangements for customers without contacting either the distributor or vendor. Available all day, every day, the duo say the configurator will save partners valuable time while preparing quotes
Participating resellers will receive training on both the use of the portal and the product available through it, as well as sales collateral and data sheets, among other things.
EMC channel director Terry Beale said eliminating delays through the programme made “sound business sense” for the channel.
“Avnet has already demonstrated its ability to act quickly and efficiently by setting up this programme, and we look forward to working together to maximise this market opportunity over the coming months,” he said.
Avnet EMC business manager Lee Bushnell added: “We believe the next 12 months will see a high level of growth in terms of companies leveraging existing network technology and adding storage functionality to their datacentre environments.
