Solar is a long-standing and successful partner of ShoreTel – it has been included in the vendor’s Circle of Excellence for the past four years and last year was the largest purchaser of ShoreTel products outside the US. It has also attained a Net Promoter score of 75%.
It now moves up to the highest tier of ShoreTel’s four level programme, which was substantially revised in December 2013 to streamline partner discounting, simplify its support pricing structure and revamp MDF policies by eliminating minimum sales revenue targets to help smaller partners bag a share of the funding, in addition to new accreditation levels.
"This is an incredible win for Solar, which has come from the dedication and hard work from every one of us here at Solar in the UK, we thank our long-standing clients whose loyalty to has given Solar the opportunity to achieve this," said chief exec Mark Colquhoun.
We are very proud to be able to present our prestigious Platinum award to Solar”, said David Petts, SVP of sales and board member at ShoreTel, “no partner deserves it more than Solar, whose dexterity and commitment to providing their clients with ShoreTel’s … solutions has guaranteed this high-level of recognition.”
ShoreTel’s sales for the quarter to 31 December hit $84.5m, up 13% year-on-year, although as usual the firm made a GAAP net loss.
