Dell has taken the wraps off a new partner tool designed to help resellers build Enterprise Solutions as part of its ongoing investment in the PartnerDirect scheme.

To mark the launch, it will also be offering a special discount fund totaling $5m (£3.3m), applicable to Enterprise Solutions sales that incorporate elements of Dell PowerEdge, Dell Compellent, Dell EqualLogic, Dell PowerVault, Dell PowerConnect and Dell Force10.
The discounts will be available to Registered, Preferred and Premier partners in Germany and the UK, and will be based on cumulative spend on Dell Enterprise Solutions since 2008. It will be applied in the form of 5% off all orders placed before the end of June.
“The tool has been developed following direct partner feedback and provides an efficient, collaborative sales tool to make it easier to configure Dell’s Enterprise Solutions. This adds to our current suite of resources and the discount fund is a further way for us to recognise and reward those partners who have invested in the programme,” said Laurent Binetti, general manager EMEA Channel Sales, Dell.
The configuration tool enables partners to create multipart, customised Enterprise Solutions for their customers in an easy, collaborative and intuitive way.
It is also integrated with deal registration, and provides pre-configured solutions and training videos, said Dell.
