Imerja hires new UK sales head in revenue push

Long-serving industry sales consultant Paul Taylor has joined security and networking services specialist Imerja to strengthen its sales operation

Long-serving industry sales consultant Paul Taylor has joined security and networking services specialist Imerja to strengthen its sales operation.

Most recently co-founder and director at consultancy People Optimisation, Taylor’s  career has included stints as sales director at Orange Business Services and northern Europe sales VP at Enterasys.

He will take charge of growing the Check Point gold partner’s sales revenue and profits, with all members of the sales team reporting directly to him.

Taylor said: “Imerja has a fantastic reputation for service delivery, and I’m relishing the prospect of helping to drive up revenues.

“I want to build upon past growth, and make this a company that’s not just a centre of excellence for IT services, but also for sales.”

Imerja MD Ian Jackson added: “Paul brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will give us a huge edge in terms of sales strategy. With the senior management team we now have in place, we’re perfectly positioned to hit our ambitious growth targets.”
