Westcon's dedicated Cisco distribution unit, Comstor, has unveiled support for the Global Partner Network (GPN) for Cisco's TelePresence Distributor-as-Agent track.
By submitting your personal information, you agree that TechTarget and its partners may contact you regarding relevant content, products and special offers.
The programme will see Comstor using its own worldwide procurement system to help Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced, Advanced Plus and Master Authorised Technology Provider partners better serve their customers.
The programme permits Cisco partners to act as host in their customer's headquarters for a globally coordinated solution.
Comstor will support this through provision of extra resources for accredited host partners, from streamlined quotation through fulfillment and invoicing, as well as worldwide global order management.
Comstor president Jon Pritchard said the initiative would "make it easier for Cisco partners to assist customers in creating centralised design and purchasing decisions, while working locally to manage global product and services delivery."
Cisco senior director of worldwide channel strategy, planning and programmes, Ricardo Moreno, said the move came in response to a perceived need among customers to broaden their operations in foreign countries, without sacrificing the ability to work with local resellers that they know and trust.
