SaaS, cloud and UC specialist intY has appointed former Vizioncore EMEA boss Roger Baskerville to run its sales and marketing ops as well as naming comms industry veterans Phil Male and Mike Read to its board.
Baskerville joins from Microsoft, where he has been doing consultancy work August 2010, and prior to that ran the EMEA operations of Vizioncore and XenSource, among others. As well as building on the firm's recent growth, he will be tasked with expanding its global channel.
Male, who was involved in setting up one of the first ever ISPs, Demon Internet, joins from Cable & Wireless and has also spent time with THUS, while Read brings extensive M&A experience, having served time in high-level roles at BT, AOL, Pipes, Daisy and Freedom4, among other firms.
IntY managing director Chris Baldock said that demand for the firm's breed of services was hitting an "all time high."
"As our market reach increases and with significant new services due to be added later this year it was the perfect time to strengthen our board to drive the company's next phase of strategic growth," he added.
