Broadband specialist Eclipse Internet has ploughed investment into its partner portal as it looks to increase the managed services options its resellers can offer customers.
The ISP has launched its portal and from next week will make available to resellers its DSL monitoring tool Eclipse Sentinel, which will enable dealers to monitor and manage their customer accounts.
Clodagh Murphy, director of Eclipse Internet, said that it had seen its channel business produce a 25% increase in orders over the last year and it believed the more it invested the greater the contribution from the channel would be.
"The more online flexibility we give resellers the more they will be able to do themselves and it will save them both time and money," she said.
She said that the Sentinel monitoring tool handed resellers the chance to offer managed services and compete on more than price.
Developed internally by the ISP the application will inform the reseller of a problem with a users connection giving them a chance to be proactive with their customer base.
"What we have found in the business to business space it is about a quality offering and it is not all about price it's about providing reliable business critical services," she added.
