IT and networking support services house Intact Integrated Services has appointed Jason Hurlstone as its new UK sales director as it plans the implementation of new sales strategies.

Hurlstone, who previously worked on the development of Intact's PCI COMMS infrastructure business, formerly worked at Cable & Wireless, where he managed the provider's relationships with Tier 1 system integrators.

He has now been charged with leading Intact's UK sales ops, managing the sales process and developing service propositions to support the firm's growth plans.

Datatec-owned Intact claims to have recorded double-digit growth and record sales in the past 12 months, as well as expanding its geographic footprint in America and the Far East and investing heavily in its INspan partner operation.

"By broadening our services, extending our geographical reach and investing in new technical skills, we believe Intact as the components in place to maintain our progress in an uncertain market," said CEO Bob Dalton.

"Jason will ensure our UK sales operation is ready to take advantage of the opportunities available in the recovering UK marketplace," he added.
