Network and comms distributor Nimans has upped its support levels on the Avaya line after adding to its face-to-face support team that it claims will be able to offer nationwide field-based service.

The team will cover the full line-up of Avaya kit sold by Nimans from SMB to enterprise level installations and including data products, which the distie took on last month.
Nimans Avaya director, Phil Adams, who recently took over management of the distributor's Avaya portfolio having previously been employed as systems sales director, said: "We've got a bigger reach of people now who can manage smaller groups of resellers. We are ivnesting heavily in people and resource to give our customers the best possible experience."
Towards the end of July Avaya unleashed a slew of new products, exploiting Nortel technology, to enhance its contact centre proposition.
