Over a hundred more jobs are to go at comms services group KCom's Integration and Managed Services unit after it saw its revenue slip by 10% over the nine months to the end of December.

The unit includes its managed services business Affiniti and Smart421, and contact centre specialist JAM IP, although it is not yet known where the cuts will impact.

Affiniti, which employs slightly over 1,000 staff, saw its headcount slashed by 8% over the course of 2008 as part of a cost-cutting drive.

In a statement KCom said it expected the I&MS unit to return to net profitability before exceptional items over the coming quarter.

KCom insisted it still had a solid financial base, despite being hit for over £3m when investment bank Lehman Brothers collapsed last autumn.
