Technology Services Group (TSG) has acquired small Loughborough-based specialist CRM and ERP reseller Concentrix.

The deal with the Microsoft Gold and Sage Accredited Business Partner represents the twenty fourth acquisition by Newcastle-based TSG since its inception in 2003.

"[The deal] increases our customer base and will considerably add to our existing Sage and Microsoft Dynamics skills and capabilities," said TSG chief exec David Stonehouse.

TSG added it had recently seen a "significant increase of CRM interest" as customers explore ways to bolster sales "during these compettive trading times".

Loughborough-based Concentrix employs just over 60 staff, reselling biz software, HP infrastructure kit and support services. Customers include Royal Mail and Thomas Cook.

Concentrix filed abbreviated accounts for the year to 31 March, indicating it has a turnover of less than £5m. In the same fiscal year, TSG posted an operating loss of £467,000 on sales of £30.6m.

As a result of the latest deal, TSG's total workforce stands at more than 500 heads, but the buy and build strategy is not yet over, the firm confirmed.

"Following the acquisition of Concentrix, TSG intends to continue its expansion plans with further acquisitions across the UK."
